So, today I had Julian
come over with his fancy shmancy camera, and help me get good-quality pics of some of my stuff! Yay! Now I have some great pictures of some of my ponies, as well as a few new things that I've never mentioned before.
I recently purchased a mini blow-torch, at the suggestion of a good friend of mine, which resulted in a lot of fire and a huge smile on my face. I've always been interested in soldering due to my love of robotics, but I've never really soldered anything but electronics before. I just meshed together some stuff that I had lying around with some stuff that I bought at a local beading supply store, and out popped my keys!
To anyone living in Ontario, there is a convention coming up in Guelph called Genre Con. I highly suggest you check it out if you can, because I'm gonna be there! It's the first year running, and I have some serious doubts about how the convention's gonna turn out, but I'm using this opportunity to get my professional name out there and to start making some moolah. This is where I'm debuting my keys, ranging, I think, from $10-$20, depending, of course, on how much the materials were for the specific key, and how long it took to make. So, cross your fingers and wish me luck!
Also, if you see a crazy influx of deviations coming from my corner of the world, now you know why! I'm going to try posting as many pics of my stuff as I can, because my business cards have my deviantart page on them. I figure I might as well make it look nice in case people want to see what kind of stuff Geek @ <3 makes.
Well, here's hoping everything goes well! Until next time,
Argon
